Life in Maclean, NSW, Australia

Having lived in beautiful South Australia, in the city of Adelaide for 22 years, we have now made a major Sea change  to the Northern Rivers of NSW.  We are 15 minutes away from some great beaches, and 10 minutes from fantastic rain forests, and there are no water shortages in this area. Where life is good and the weather normally wonderful, we get a bit of heat in the summers and torrential rains, See our weather and the current Radar. Now that I’m not working full time, I have started a small consultancy, will do most technical things. But prefer communications and systems design. Until I decide to start working, I am catching up on things like setting up my workshop under the house. Here are some pictures of the new home.

Some of my friends might remember that I have been an NSD Practitioner for a few years now, since the practice was only by word-of-mouth, and all my clients appeared to have improved the work has faded away, since I never charged I don’t miss the income.

For the technical crowd, I am now running an Apple Mac Pro Dual Quad Zeon, 12 GB Ram, 3 terabyte HD, Apple MacBook Pro, CoreDuo. Drobo Backup with 8 TB.  With Windows 7 working in emulation under Parallels. Now have a MacBook as well and of course the iPhone and iPad.

Lately I don’t stay up all night, so remember the time zones.
